BioI'm Jon. My hometown is Covington, WA, a bit outside Seattle in a once-bucolic landscape--I came face-to-face with elk on my walk to high school--that has sadly become the latest casualty of exurban development. I'm a recent graduate of Harvard Law School and look forward to returning to my home state to help defend the environment and the rights of the poor.
My astrological sun sign is Sagitarrius. Like the Lapithae of Greece who battled the centaurs at the wedding of their king, I am engaged in a struggle against the baser, animal side of humanity--both in the world and within myself. When not involved in that centauromachy, I'm in adventurous love with my boyfriend Matthew, and playing father to our three ferrets: Pandora, Dmitri, and Theodore "Theo" Roosevelt.
